For cafés

Guest coffee on your bar. No stock to buy.

Regulars and local roasters drop sealed bags at your bar. You brew them and pay back only the grams you use. BeansDrop runs everything around the bag, from the offer to the last gram.

No platform fee.

What you get

More to pour, nothing on the shelf.

  • A rotating guest menu

A new origin, roaster or process each time a bag runs out. You don't buy the beans up front, and you pay only for the grams you use.

  • Payback comes back as visits

Regulars are paid back in points that only work at your café. What you pay back returns as visits, often with something extra on the order.

  • New roasters, no strings

Try a roaster's coffee on your own bar before any regular order or contract.

What BeansDrop does

Everything around the bag, done for you.

Six services in one café account. Each one fits a moment of your working day.

  1. 01When a bag is offered

    Guest coffee offers

Regulars and roasters offer you bags at their own price per gram.

    • Accept or decline each offer, with a reason if you like
    • Accepted bags wait in a queue, oldest roast first
    • Full up? One switch pauses new offers

    Find it under Drops

  2. 02At closing

    On-bar board and gram log

Weigh each guest bag once a day. BeansDrop works out the grams used.

    • Guest slots and the queue on one screen
    • Nothing to log during service, whatever the brew
    • Past days are locked, so everyone can trust the count

    Find it under On bar

  3. 03At the counter

    Points and payback ledger

Always know what you owe each contributor.

    • Scan a contributor's counter code to see their points and record what they spend
    • Your café issues the points, spent only with you, on anything you sell
    • Roasters' invoices, your payment slips and their receipts sit in the same place

    Find it under Contributors

  4. 04Online, every day

Your café page and a pin on the map

Regulars see what's on your bar before they walk in.

    • A public page with what's on bar, what's next and your totals
    • A pin on the Discovery map while a bag is on bar or queued
    • A chance to be the featured bar on the BeansDrop home page

    Find it under Settings

  5. 05When a new coffee goes on

    Followers who hear about it

Regulars follow your café and are told when a new coffee goes on bar.

    • See how many people follow your café
    • See how many heard about each new bag
    • Nothing to post. The news goes out when you put the bag on

    Find it under On bar

  6. 06Whenever you post

    Marketing kit

Ready-made material for your bar and your socials.

    • A printable bar banner with a QR to your café page and a buy-a-bag QR for the roaster
    • Posts for Instagram, Facebook and LINE, first drafted by AI in your café's voice
    • Short vertical videos for Reels and TikTok

    Find it under Media

Also included. Email alerts when a bag is offered, when a roaster uploads an invoice, and 3 days before and on the day a payment is due. A download of all your café's data, and closing your account whenever nothing is owed or waiting on your answer.

The numbers

One 500g bag, worked through.

Example numbers for one drop at ~2 THB/g. The contributor sets the price per gram, and you accept or decline it.

The money set aside is owed until the points are spent. When a regular spends points, it pays for their drink like a cash sale. Points that expire unspent leave it with you.

Where the set-aside money goes
Cups after dial-in
~25
Guest coffee sales
~2,750 THB
Bag value
~1,000 THB
Points you issue (120%)
~1,200 points
Money set aside for those points
~1,200 THB

That's ~44% of what guest coffee brings in, with nothing on your shelf.

Guide price tiers are Standard, Premium and Rare. Keep a rough range in mind and you can answer offers quickly.

How it works

Five steps for every bag.

  1. 01

    Drop

A contributor brings sealed bags with printed roast dates, in the drop size you set to match what you sell before the beans go stale.

  2. 02

    Check

You check the seal, the roast date and the price per gram, then accept or decline.

  3. 03

    Serve

Once it has rested, dial it in and serve it as your guest coffee.

  4. 04

    Weigh

At closing, weigh the bag and save the weight. What it lost since yesterday is the day's grams used.

  5. 05

    Pay back

Regulars earn café points as grams are used. Each roaster bag is paid on its own invoice within 15 days, at the roaster's price, and you upload your slip.

The life of a bag

  1. Day 0

Roasted, with the date printed on the bag.

  2. Day 3–21

Dropped at your café and checked.

  3. Once rested

On bar as the guest coffee. Extra bags queue.

  4. Day 45

Window ends, and roaster bags come off by themselves. Buy what's left at half its value, or return it and the contributor has 14 days to collect it.

What we ask of you

Your side of the bar.

  • One or two guest slots on your bar
  • A second grinder, ideally single-dose. No second grinder? Tell us and we'll work it out for the pilot
  • A weigh-in at closing, on a scale that reads to 1g
  • Your café issues the points, spent only with you, on anything you sell
  • Invite your regulars and the roasters you know to drop a bag. Your bar banner and café page help
  • A heads-up if a deal with your house roaster limits guest coffee

The pilot

What we do for you.

We set up your café on BeansDrop and the points cards, and bring the first bag, so there's a guest coffee on your bar from day one. After that, you invite your regulars and roasters to drop bags. Media in your café account makes the bar banner and social posts for you.

  1. Week 0

Agree the terms, set up your café, and invite your regulars and roasters.

  2. Weeks 1–4

Guest coffee live, kept up to date on your café page.

  3. Week 5

Review the numbers together. Continue, adjust or stop.

No platform fee.

No obligation after the pilot. Either side can stop at any time, and points already issued are honoured.
